a lil ABOUT US

Meet me, Julie Borenstein, owner and leader of the pack, A Dog’s Way. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been an animal and dog lover of all shapes & sizes. It was only natural that I pursue a career that I was passionate about. I studied Animal Biology at the University of Guelph and graduated with Honours with hopes of becoming a veterinarian. Throughout university & highschool, I worked at veterinary clinics assisting with procedures and general pet care, assuming that was the best direction for me.

During my studies I was asked to develop a business plan for a pet service. I constructed and built the groundwork for a Doggy Camp. Since then, I have never looked back. Because of that assignment, I was able to evaluate what type of relationship I wanted with the animals I was so passionate about. Turns out, I’d just really like to spend my days devoted to loving, walking and caring for dogs.

16 dog years and counting...

I’m lucky to have the career I do. My days are filled with unconditional love, long pack walks and happy wagging tails. It’s important to me that the time I spend with my clients animals is as much fun and enjoyable for them as it is for me, treating them as part of my own fur family.
